The mission of the Wildlife Center of Virginia is to teach the world to care about and to care for wildlife and the environment. The Wildlife Care Academy helps others take an active and educated role in the conservation of wildlife. Academy content is offered in a variety of subjects, including wildlife rehabilitation, wildlife medicine, outreach and communications, education, administration, and more. Whether you are wildlife professional at an organization, a dedicated at-home permitted wildlife rehabilitator, or a wildlife enthusiast who wants to learn more about your wild neighbors, the Academy has something for you.
