Community Outreach

The services that professionals in the field of wildlife medicine and education provide to our global society are invaluable and begin with the connections that can be made within our local communities. Those connections can evolve into mutually beneficial relationships, but not on their own – effective outreach is the key! Lectures include a thorough examination of the most relevant outreach concepts, tools, and skills designed to connect your work with your community. Practice sessions and activities offer participants the opportunity to map relationships using real-world examples.

This course will take about one to one and a half hours to complete.
